I am now positive that HD Widgets is the app that has been chowing my battery. Since switching to Beautiful Widgets, I noticed a substantial improvement. Any other battery-hungry apps that we should be aware of that you noticed?

I take most of the **** off as soon as I can (whatever I can take off).

I also only allow google to sync contacts and nothing else.
I do not log into facebook of use the google email app at all. I use my browser for those.

Makes a huge difference and also stops my phone from constantly distracting me.

Why not simply install PowerTutor and check. Some apps will drink more on some phone than others, depending on underlying OS vs optimization.

Surprisingly enough I found that one battery "saving" and monitoring app was chowing my battery, got rid of it and the phone lasts for 2 days without a charge!

I just checked on my phone(battery on 51.8%) and HD widgets used 7.2%. I only use the weather widget. Is that a lot?
