I would like to mirror an Android tablet onto a projector / large TV, in a business environment.

Would would I need to do this reliably, and with some security?

I've read up on Chrome cast, but seems like you can't setup a password for connecting to it?

Ideally, I would need to have both devices (tablet and mirror device, whatever it is) on the same wifi network, but have some form of protection, as there might be more than one room utilizing these functions, and want to prevent other users on the network from mirroring to said devices whenever they want.

Any ideas?

Chromecast on a separate wifi with password where no-one else is connected to? You could create a separate vlan for the presentation network and only add the appropriate authorized switch ports to it
