I'm looking to develope a 'simple' web browser that uses the webview 'class'? to load a sepcific website only. I have tried to follow several tutorials and keep getting stuck somewhere. At this point I'm so fed up I'm looking for someone to develope the browser for me and I'll pay for it.

Any offers, or suggestions. If you can give me the source code that would be awesome or point me to a great tutorial, I'm all out of waking hours for this part of the project...

Thanks for your pm can you do this in iOS and BB swell? I will want to make a couple of these browser apps with slightly different specs is there no easier way? I have tried the maxthon browser with the custom build option but it isn't simple enough i.e. it offers to many browser options to my user.

More about the app though, is it possible to embed js so when it's called by a certain webpage the app uses it's own embedded js? The intention is to speed up the loading time of pages and create a smooth and native feeling app.

It seems to be next to impossible to find people with Sencha Touch / Phonegap / Appcelerator skills in South Africa. If anyone is working in this field and wants to work for bidorbuy (either perm or contract) please drop me your CV / portfolio of apps - cto @ bidorbuy.co.za.

Oops did not see this post. (So I guess you did try the Dreamweaver/phonegap option)

Well to be honest there is people with said skills, just that they in high demand and normally well sort after over seas as well. Simply put, if you find one you gonna have to pay him well to stay put :)

Wish you luck.

The paying part is not the issue - it's the finding part ;-)

Erm might be off the mark here but have you looked at Phonegap?

Thanks, but I have. Essentially it takes your html, css and JS and combines it into a nice little app. However (and I haven't tried so I dont know) I would be looking for a single iframe functionailty, and all the app work seems a little over the top for my simple requirements.
