South Africa’s biggest forum. Discuss, discover, and connect with thousands of members.
Awesome man thanks againOverall you get 4 types of applications:
Totally Free,
This can be applications build around Open Source like XBMC remote or Commercial software linked to a service like say FNB Banking App
Add Supported
This cover mostly games but you can find loads of applications where the developer gets income not on sales of applications but from the adds that is seen inside them for example Angry Birds and Wifi Analyzer. In some cases you can chose between Ad supported for free and paid with no ads like Komik Reader - Free and Komik Reader - Donation
Paid
The name says it all, this is normally applications or games that can only be bought and some of them can be expensive for example CoPilot Live South Africa
Micro transaction or subscription based.
They normally refer to applications that is free to download but have a catch in that some or most of the features needs you to pay for inside the application. Like magazine subscriptions in Kindle, or games with micro transactionsPocket legends.
As for Tapatalk
Tapatalk is a Forum app that you can use to read and post on forums
https://www.gstatic.com/android/market/com.quoord.tapatalkpro.activity/ss-480-0-22
Its normally cost about R20.00 and can be used as a single app to post on many forums liks XDA, MyBB and so on
But if you dont want to spend money you can get free applications that work basically the same for example Mybroadband forum app

That is free, yes it looks exactly the same, that is because Tapatalk can charge forum owners to rebrand the app but it would limit it to only your forum see http://www.tapatalk.com/rebranding.php
Awesome man thanks again
