When we conducted tests with SunSpider on the Nexus One, we found that the default browser finished in 5,742ms and Firefox finished in 3,558ms
That's most impressive considering Android 2.2 has the fastest mobile browser around - and it beats it by quite a margin!

If memory usage and launch times are low it may be the new best browser - quite remarkable, considering how Firefox is always considered full of XUL-ly bloat!

It's still pretty crap to use. The page renderer needs a lot of work.
It's good that they're making progress though.

Read reviews on the market that it's slow and never bothered.

Still moving between Skyfire and Dolphin.

Dolphin HD must be the most fluid browser ive used on a mobile, i use it to, i actualy cant decide between it and the built-in browser. The Firefox guys have a long way to go to match Dolphin HD's speed and UI.

I use dolphin if i want to view a site and see everything work etc. I use the default browser most of the time though. Generally it gives you a mobile version and dolphin gives you the full version.

There is a toggle switch plugin for Dolphin HD ;).
