Android implement restriction

Hi Everyone.
I have 2 Android devices.
One is a cheap no name brand tablet with Android KitKat on.
The 2nd one is a Samsung Galaxy S6 with Marshmallow on.
I want to know if anyone know of software that can be install on these devices to restrict the time usage.
For example. The device will only work between 13:00 and 20:00.
These devices are used by kids and I want to implement theses limits on them.
I know you can go and tell them to switch them off but sometimes you just get busy with other thing and lose track of time.
Both devices are rooted. I do not mind to flash them with other custom roms.
Is there any such thing out there? Preferably Free.

I had an app called kids place installed on a tablet for my son. I almost certain it had a scheduling option.

It's basically a home screen launcher that starts with the system and can only be switched off with a password. You can limit a number of thing they can do and access.
