Explain?
I met someone on Saturday. They had a Desire. I was interested and had a look at the phone. It had some cool free apps but they all look really bland. There was one that showed a map of star constellations but it just wouldn't load any 3G data while my 3GS did just fine. Not a definitive comparison by any means. I don't know what the issue was but I can't say I was overwhelmed. Or even 'whelmed for that matter.
My point is, very few things are as frustrating as tech that doesn't want to work.
Oh no... Not another stevie fanboy. Virgin does not have 3G yet. It does not matter which phone you use! It will hopefully be introduced in 2 weeks time when cellc launches their 3G. MMS don't work on Virgin (or we haven't found a way) on Android (or iPhone for that matter).
Your point is: no point at all. Besides topic and completely irrelevant. We're trying to establish Virgin MMS settings, not compare phones. But while you're at it there is nothing a Desire can't do that the 3Gs or even 4G can. Except not loose signal and skype and that's coming 3rd quarter. The app you are referring to is Google Sky Map. It establishes your position and shows the star constellation above you. It recognises you hold the phone so you see exactly which stars you point the phone at

+1 cmyplay, you are looking for a fight, I've tried to help with the MMS at this current moment in time and even said I'll give feedback in the next few days when I get round to looking at the problem.
You have provided comments that are quite irrelevant to the current discussion on hand which was been the MMS issue, and I've even tried to help you with your apparent internet problem but alas it comes down to comparing phones and even in the end it was more of a problem with the cellular provider's side of things than the actual phone.
Oh no... Not another stevie fanboy.
Ouch.
What is this 4G of which you speak? Does it have horns? Does it breathe fire?
Oh no. Don't loose it with me. I couldn't bear your spelling and grammar.
Still a cool free app to have.
Well guy, I don't like fights especially when I'm only expressing my opinion. I'd keep that in mind considering that in your other posts some of your opinions have been antagonistic as well.
Precisely. Now why is carrier side issues such a big deal for one manufacturer and a non-issue for another? Congrats on the Desire you guys. If it works for you great.
Okay, 2 days ago i decided to update my desire from 1.5 to 2.1 to 2.2. In the process of updating my phone asked if im using vodacom or cellc. ofcourse knowing virgin uses cellc towers i selected cellC...and there it was. My virgin mobile mms and internet setting pre-installed. Tested as soon as possible and got a mms sent. Awesome.
So here is my settings. Hope it helps...
