Android Introduction and Development Day

Hi Guys.

I'm organising an Android Introduction and Development day next Saturday 31st July at 9am.

Unfortunately the actual event is full, but we will have a live stream on the day where you can ask questions and video's thereafter if you can't watch the stream.

There is no charge for it, we organised it as a community ... and it is being paid for by Google and Samsung.

Some of the highlights of the day:
-Various presentations in the morning about Android, what it's about and some of it's capabilities.
-An afternoon live workshop on creating your first application in Android.
-A representative from Google South Africa will be there to give a 20 minute talk about Google and Android in SA in the morning.
-Brett Loubser from Samsung Mobile will give a 30 minute talk in the morning about Samsung and Android ... with a Q&A session ... and you can ask questions via the stream.

This sounds interesting.
Someone at the event please ask the Google rep about making paid market apps available in SA

I've already asked google that ... they said it's not on the line, at least not at the moment.

But there will be a live chat ... and one can ask questions in the chat.
