Android media player - help a newbie!

Hi all

I'm a newbie when it comes media boxes etc. I need to get one that will be able to run Netflix (1080p?) / Showmax / DSTV now (basically video streaming)

I've got a 10mb uncapped Telkom line.

It would seem that the Telkom LIT box is the way to go, however there are none in PE and the store tells me that they might only get stock in March.

I'm keen on the Minix Neo U9-H.

Would this be recommended or are there any other alternatives ?

Xiaomi Mi box , Chromecast , Amazon Fire TV/Stick , Nvidia Shield - your options for 1080 p Netflix - Telkom Lit Box doesn't do it.

Any " official " and " certified " device.

Just a Bit confused Lit box does not do 1080P? but according to specs it does 4K x 2K HDR @ 60Hz

Because the Netflix app is not certified for the Telkom Lit box, therefore the official app gives an error, People have to sideload it and this sideloaded app only goes up to 720p

Was on daily deals for R1299. Works very well.

I use the H96 Pro+, there is an updated version of that here Fantastic little things. Watch Netflix, DSTV Now & Showmax with no problems. Kodi is pretty good too.



FYI, I have never purchased from the above site, so can't vouch for them... just used them as an example.
