Android Navigation with South African Live Traffic

Is anyone aware of an Android app which provides South African live traffic (like the one on the TomTom Live and Garmin)?

Nokia has introduced this service on their ovi maps and I think there also in a Tomtom app for iOS which supports live traffic locally but I haven't been able to find one for Android.

Navigon has live traffic but not locally... Same for I Go

I had Garmap on Blackberry (MTN) a few moons ago, and that had live traffic. I'd also like to find the Android equivalent (for free if possible )

Android Navigation, has live traffic build into its design, only limitation is that you need more people to use it to become valuable as it doesn't use external sources other than phones in SA yet.

Garmap on Android would probably be the equivalent Also has live traffic. Much easier to use than on blackberry. Currently R99 for a years navigation but the live traffic is extra. The live traffic on garmin/garmap sucks compared to tomtom though. I've never seen any indication of traffic on google maps/navigation.

Activate the Traffic View in the layers.

Edit: Forgot to mention you dont have to turn on the view to use it either. The reason Google Maps route planning is done online instead of on your phone is because they use the traffic data on the servers to calculate the route.

There is no Google traffic info for SA (yet). At least not in Cape Town and 3 days ago when I last checked
