[Android] Pushbullet alternative?

Pushbullet no longer supported by Chrome.
Half the time the desktop app doesn't respond.
Need something else.

I want the ability to send data (photo's, copied text, video, documents etc.) from my phone (android) to pc (windows) and vice versa. Some apps require that both devices are connected to the same network - I DON'T WANT THAT. I want to be able to send back and forth regardless of which network each device is connected to. This is how pushbullet works.

Any suggestions?
 
Google Drive works for me, I just share from my phone, computer or tablet to a folder on my drive account, since my tablet and phone are android they are already signed into my google account by default.

The issue with that is mostly one of speed & convenience. With pushbullet the apps are always running on both devices - as soon as I send from one to the other it pops up immediately (usually in the browser).
 
wow pushbullet is still around, havent heard or used them in like a decade

yeah i use whatsapp or drive

I think it is more a case of Android becoming a lot more locked in for the sake of "security" and on top of that Samsung and others put their own restrictions on it, nevermind Windows going the same route.
Have you tried Microsoft Phone Link?
