Its upto your Network provider, but on the google Nexus range, its already out.

Just flash custom firmware on your phone. You can have Lollipop right now.

Just Google your phone's model number and 'custom firmware' and you'll probably discover threads on Xda Developers about rooting and flashing firmware. It's very easy to do. Youtube probably has some guides too.

No it doesn't. Sending your phone to customer service while it's in such a state does. You can use Triangle Away to reset the flash counter and then unroot, put stock recovery back on and flash stock firmware on. I did this with an S3 back in the day and had no issues.

Covering your tracks, lol. Most people will not use Triangle Away etc.

@OP. If the software has been released in Europe, wait another 2-3 months for the carriers here to release it for your specific phone. Or else flash it.

My bad! It actually wasn't the infamous triangle, it was a little red exclamation mark left top corner when I booted it. At the time I tried triangle away as suggested by some, but could not get rid of it. S3, it appeared after rooting IIRC.

Triangle Away only works on the i9505 variant, and not with KNOX bootloaders. ie - KitKat and Lollipop.
