Hi guys

I'm specifically looking for replies from current Android tablet owners.

I'm a big Android and Google enthusiast. At the moment I'm thinking of getting a tablet and naturally I'm only considering an Android device. My only concern is one that I picked up from a couple of Android tablet reviews. Some of the reviews has got a problem with the apps that are available for tablet devices in the Google Play store. They have problems with the "quality" and quantity of tablet apps available.

Is this a real concern or would you consider it as typical iOS fanboyism?

Thanks!

Simple, go look through http://www.tablified.com/

If your needs are met.

I have no problems finding quantity as well as quality in the apps that I need. Hell some like XBMC Remote and DSLR Controller is only available on Android. What is missing but starting to come up in numbers is games, if you into games go iPad, thats almost the only thing I still use my iPad for.

The Play Store does suffer from a lack of quality in tablet optimized apps vs the App Store. The main reason posited for this is that Android does a better job of scaling apps than iOS does, and thus there is less of a need to create tablet specific apps. Which leads to lower quality apps specifically for a tablet.
So that should answer your question. The apps are there, and they are most certainly useable. They are just sometimes not optimized as well as they should be.

But you sound like that will be good enough for you
