Android upgrade for Sinotec TV

I have contacted Sinotec and they say they will not release upgrades for the TV'S. Has anyone done a successful upgrade on a Sinotec TV?

That is the draw back with the cheaper less known brands. No after service as in updates. I am not sure if Hisense offer as well.

It does suck. I mean they are releasing the newer TV with an upgraded version so why not make it available to us. Anyway looking at a mediabo&aqs rather. At least has dstv now app working on it

Also, the TV (actual TV,HDMI,etc) looks like its built into the android system. A mistake while flashing this tv (if it was possible) would mean it would be totally bricked.

If you contacted them and they said they were not releasing upgrades then I guess there are no upgrades.
