Android Useful Apps

I've been running the resigned pre-CM QuickPic for months now. Still the best image viewer imo.
Current version still as good, has some nice updates, one being timeline, easy to find recently saved or taken pics no matter where they are stored on the phone.

I will never touch a Cheetah Mobile product. QuickPic has become bloated to the high heavens. It even has a taxing background process now.

Just rolled back to the old version of Quick pic. Thanks, notably better and quicker than the current version.

Using Piktures as a replacement for quickpic and Solid Explorer as a replacement for ES file Explorer. Solid was basically the only one that would stream media off samba shares properly and it actually has a pretty good interface.

I've been using Solid Explorer since day one. I've tried all the others, but kept coming back to it.

The latest version has Dropbox, Mega etc. integration with fingerprint authentication.

Swapped to Solid Explorer after ES became full of crapware. Its... Solid.

Been using FX since ES got bloated/killed. Paid for the networking addon and haven't looked back. The root system works way better than ES.

Thanks for the heads-up.
Got my first ES popup the other day and haven't been happy about it.

I've been using Solid Explorer (paid upgrade) for ages. It really is the best Explorer for me.

You're asking the wrong person. Solid Explorer does all the remote stuff, FTP network, etc... and has a nice interface - esp. in landscape. I haven't used ES enough to know what it does.

Would either of those explorers allow me to open a Web browser on the computer to browse the phones files and copy file on/off?

Can solid do that, it's cheaper than fx last I checked
