Personally prefer SwipePad: Hyperspace Launcher
The free part is like app you mention and you can also pay for extra functionality like say widgets.
I tried SwipePad - didn't use it, wasn't fond of it either. I'm giving HomeFlip a try.

It was available yesterday on the Play Store website. I must admit I was disappointed. The original is much better imo.

The original alerted it to me last night.
Downloaded - having fun with it.
Tilt controls are a bit whacky (I think anyway) but the graphics and changes in levels are cool.
Only an hour into it - can't put preference onto either right now.
I like 2 though.

I am looking for an app that will sync immediately and without fault with google tasks.
The problem is, I want to be able to collaborate on such a task list. E.g. shopping list with my wife.
But not Astrid tasks...I don't like it that much as I used to.
Springpad also allows one to collaborate, but it does not sync with Google tasks.

I use tasks, it syncs on schedule, add and launch. should work for you, may not be push instant but if the list is shared it will at least sync when the app opens.

Thank you... you will see why I say this in about a month's time.

We use an app called Out of Milk for this. We both sign in on the same account and it syncs our lists, works very well.
