So has anyone got their hands on the new LG G watch or the Samsung Galaxy Gear Live?

Is it worth trying to import from the US Play store via VPN? I really like the Gear Live, although waiting for the Moto 360 would be the smartest thing to do...

Heard the charging mechanism on the gear live is crap.

360 is the best looking but is it practical to have a round screen..?

Practical? Uhm... since it's a watch, and watches have been round for many many many years, I'd say yes!

It depends on development more than practicality IMO...

It depends on development more than practicality IMO...

It's round for aesthetic reasons, not practical ones. Even the Android Wear demos they did on the 360, show how the OS itself is designed primarily for squared screens (corners of tiles being cut off, etc).

That being said- the 360 is still the one I want. Even if it is an average Wear device, it would still make a rather decent watch, which is ideally what it needs to accomplish first and foremost.

Well my thoughts exactly. Waiting patiently for the 360, although I think it will be sold out instantly and remain like that for a while... So I'm watching the net like a hawk.
