Whenever I make a whatsapp call to somebody on MTN the quality of call is shyt.
I think MTN also plays a role in whatsapp call quality being shyt. They probably shape voip.
Making a normal call to MTN number also sucks. Vodacom to Vodacom is the best quality I have encountered so far.

Oh no. I just read the "change log" on this update and it said it introduces this feature, so I thought it was a brand new thing.

The latency issues might have been sorted out. I received and made WhatsApp calls recently and they were perfect, even over LTE. Before then the latency was atrocious, although it had been a while since I used the call function.

WhatsApp should allow which dialer to use when you press the phone icon.
What he meant was that it's been available on iPhone since June
No, Android official got it before IOS.
