Hi guys
I am an Android n00b - was a BlackBerry user for ten years and took the plunge into Android with a Sony Xperia C last week but I sense something is amiss with my Sony Xperia C.
For one, I can't move all the apps to the SD card!
For two, I can't delete or uninstall the apps that came bundled with the phone!
For three, I can't update Google Maps "insufficient disk space available"
For four, I can't install Google Inbox "insufficient disk space available" and "due to an error (923)"
For five, McAfee trial comes preloaded and is bloated but I can't uninstall it!
I seem to think the only way out of this is to root the phone? Any comments, suggestions or ideas?
It has 1GB internal storage but it's almost 90% (or more) used up - surely the idea is to move the apps and such trivia to the SD card? Most of the options are greyed out "Move to SD card".
I am at your mercy ... if this is what Android is about then I'd tend towards saying it sucks
Do I give my phone the boot or do I give it a root?
