Some good CL football last night. I watched the matches on supersport 3 again.

1st up was the Arsenal vs Villa clash, then i proceeded to watch the all important United vs Porto clash.

All i want to say is that Andy Gray should stop commentating. He is by far the worst commentator ever. His voice is so irritating and he is probably the most biased commentator in the world. His love for United will always come through.

He commented how he is staying in the United team hotel and the mood with the players are calm. WTF cares?

Then he goes on to ridicule all the Porto passes and attacks. Lastly he says, Porto is not a great team, they a good team, but not a great team.

What happened to commentators being neutral? I will never ever watch a supersport CL match again if he is the commentator.

Well I think he's right. Porto is a good team, but not a great team. Last night was evident enough. Is voicing an opinion wrong?
 
He's not much worse than that irritating Tommy Smyth(with a 'Y') on ESPN.

btw you better get used to Gray because ESPN lost the rights to broadcast Champions League matches next season. Fox will be taking over .
 
He is biased but I enjoy his commentary
 
Look, i have no problem with commentators voicing opinions like Porto are not a great team, the problem is when you contantly insult the other team like he was doing against Porto.

I remember, he was commentating on the United vs Sunderland match when Keane left. He said this Sunderland team is pathetic and laughable.

How can he say that????

I agree entirely. You are not alone. He is very biased and I don't know how he is still in commentating. I can understand a bit when it is an English team versus a foreign team in Europe as he is commentating for an English Network but he is just as bad when it comes to Man United in the Premier League or when Liverpool is playing (he hates us with passion).

Quite understandable - he is a United supporter after all...
 
Who is this one that is usually commentating on World cups? I like his jokes and all.
