Anesthesia

I've been under a few times in the last year and a bit. Nothing to worry about. For me, I can feel everything working and loosing control. I get a second to start to freak out, and then next thing I know, I wake up. Blank in between. The deeper I've been out (for ops) just means I take a while to wake up. Have the usual "being wheeled through" wakeup where I start to panic because I'm drowsy and don't feel in control, but then I am back asleep. Takes a day for me to normalize after ops, but after short stints like teeth/scopes I am back to normal with an hour.

I always wake up with dry lips & feeling like I want to throw up...but nothing comes out :(

Lying in hospital now, don't remember anything after the preop meds except the high was crazy for a few seconds then everything is just a blank.

Woke up, was talking *** to everyone (have no memory of this) then passed out again.

12/10 would do again.

Lasted 4 seconds according to the anesthetist

bwhaha...well I guess you got the same stuff as I did here:
e.g. One gave me a very powerful pre-op medication. Don't even recall being wheeled into the operating room - I'd say a good hour or so pre-op missing.

Was that St Mary's by chance?

Anyway...its quite a contrast. Other ones (e.g. Wilgers) don't really give heavy pre-op so I recall discussing the O2 measurement device with the anaesthetist (he kept repeating it measures O2 & I wanted to know sure but HOW - answer is laser)

At Rondebosch medical center. I was pretty confident I would be able to fight the anesthesia but I don't even remember counting backwards haha. I'm curious on where it falls if you had to compare highs/ strength of them to other drugs (ie meth)

I get a feeling of depression a few days after, Anxious ,,,, wake up in the middle of the night but it passes.

Anesthesia is nothing. Its like taking a strong sleeping pill and then waking up. Thats all. You mouth might be a bit dry though and your lips as well. Make sure you take lip balm along for afterwards to put on.
