We have a family member in his sixties with no medical plan
After a doctor visit, an angiogram test and most probably stent procedure is advised
Apart from state hospitals with very long waiting lists, where else can this be done ?
The average cost for private clinics are R140,000 - that is just for the hospital stay - excluding the cardiologist's fee
Our family member have about R50,000 available and is quite desperate for a solution as his fairly active lifestyle has come to a complete stop
He lives in Cape Town but will travel anywhere in SA
Any advice / info will be appreciated
