Hey there, I'd like to find out who plays this game?

I only started giving the game serious attention yesterday, and I must say, I'm blown away! I'd love to add a few steam friends so if you play and want to co-op or battle shoot me a pm with your steam name :)

I'd appreciate any advice on trading strategies you have come up with and general tidbits of knowledge.

Yea, go find yourself some games that don't need more than 2 min to figure out.. in the toddler section maybe.

I enjoyed this game (from about minute 3 when I figured out how it works) but I haven't played for ages. Maybe I will give it a go again.
 
Didn't even know this was out. Need to get myself a PC again. Anno 1404 was de shait!
 
Finished the single player,seriously disappointed with the storyline,can imagine a few hours of multiplayer fun though

I get what you're saying. It took me a while to figure the controls too (I'm brand new to the franchise). I spent about 10 minutes figuring out how to build a road. Fortunately, once you get the hang of it (the initial campaign missions serve as a bit of a tutorial) the game's learning curve takes off and you're presented with a beautiful and challeneging game. Give that demo another go!

I've been browsing the wiki, I think this afternoon I'll find me a decent calculator!
(Though that almost feels like cheating!)
 
This is an incredible game, spent about 20 hours over the weekend building up my island empire.

If you're struggling with the gameplay search for Anno 2070: Beginners Guide by nanosuitninja on youtube. Apart from being really funny he basically shows you how to get yourself up & running smoothly in no time.

I'll look him up today, I started on the Global Event yesterday. The second mission is killing me! I have to go back in there today and prune some unnecessary buildings!
 
I really wanted to get this during the steam sale for some reason I never clicked buy.
 
If you get another chance at some point, I highly recommend it!
