Annoying cellphone support centres

Why do the cellphone support centres never give up the release dates for upcoming cellphones when you ask for them?

There response is there is no release date for the phone in SA meanwhile its scheduled for release in the next month,I mean surely they have an idea?:mad:

Yes, they probably do but they get b_tched at when they make promises and then the phone is not released on time so you probably find they have learnt from experience just to say they do not know....

My understanding is that all new phones also have to be tested on the networks first...
 
Yeah I guess thats a good reason&testing is a major part but it gets kinda annoying when a phone has been shown as coming soon on the manufacturers website for like 4 months
