Safari has this annoying habit, when I shut it down and restart, to reopen not with the home page but with the last page I visited, sometimes even more than one page!

I looked in the "preferences" but can't figure out how to switch of this feature.

In terminal copy and paste
Code:
defaults write com.apple.Safari ApplePersistenceIgnoreState YES
Or hold the shift key when you start up safari.

Tried out Safari the other day no where near as good as Firefox or Chrome!

When I visit Gmail in Firefox some of my mail features are missing and I get this message: "Some important features may not work in this version of your browser, so you have been redirected to the Basic HTML version. Upgrade to a modern browser, such as Google Chrome. " I don't have the same problem in Safari. Is version 3.0.19 the latest? I want a "modern" browser.
...or is Google just punting Chrome?

What version of Firefox do you have?
