Annoying!

Like any fine downloader I had just reached my cap and decided to go all out till my next disconnect, everything was going great, nice uncapped speeds for about 2 gigs, then comes the annoying thing! My house loses power, not trips, just turns off and about a minute later comes back on. I log on to find a capped account

Consipiracy! iBurst, not being able to manage your speeds via their b/w manager, decided to interrupt the power supply to your house! You must be connected via usb...

Actually, for the same reason, I've been watching my daily usage rather carefully. It disappoints me that I should even have to do this - I'm not the power downloader I used to be.

haha, JTech, htis is harldy a problem, its how the system owrks and is pretty fair. Infact 2gigs extra at full speed is prety lucky anyway. I find that I get capped while on the same session most of the time.. hmm.. ill check it out end of this month.

Not much of a problem, just annoying, we never normally have power outages here, it just seemed to be completely random, we were busy unlocking HL2 : ep1 which is also flippin annoying & we were nearly done too

Just the sort of problem that a UPS will fix.

If they can only check your cap when you log on, does that mean that you are uncapped as long as your PC and modem is powered up and logged on?

I'm sure if that is the case they will probably disconnect you
