I installed anonymizer to attempt to watch stuff at Hulu.com
There is a nice video on youtube detailing how easy it is. Of course it doesn't work... but what really got me was that Anonymizer is pay for software and does nothing for privacy like it's supposed to...
after installation, visit http://whatismyipaddress.com/ and you get the following (real IP not shown)

Proxy Server Detected!
(proxy test results)

Proxy Server IP address: 205.212.72.46
Proxy Server Details: 1.0 eel-ip-ccache-1 (NetCache NetApp/6.1.1D8), 1.1 rrba-ip-pcache-5 (NetCache NetApp/6.1.1D8)

Proxy Reports IP as: 41.247.xxx.xxx, 198.54.xxx.xxx

Very secure lol...
I guess it's back to TOR / Vidalia bundle... anyone else recommend anything?

Here is the result of TOR and Privoxy:

Your IP address is 217.118.24.249
Suspected proxy server or network sharing device. (details)

Totaly anonymous... and a free product...
obviously doesn't work with Hulu as it is p2p and is slow...

Dave, you are a genius lol... OK, maybe close... I used to use script blocker... maybe I'll go back to that... either way, for the amount of anon I need today, Tor does the job without script blocking.... however, getting back to Hulu... I wonder if that will now work with anonymizer...
Anyone else able to watch stuff on Hulu?

I usually always surf with scripts disabled due to stuff loading MUCH FASTER without scripts.. (That and its 10x safer)

I agree on TOR being the BEST solution for anon surfing...

Otherwise you can find a list of proxy-sites @ http://iesurf.info

How do you find TOR speeds?
I find it a little slow for anything other than occasional use.
I hate proxy lists - always evolving...

Yes it CAN BE VERY SLOW but its also secure... (Anything that is secure is usually always somewhat slower)
