Wrong forum subsection - I know - its intentional.

Suppose I need to email someone anonymously (reasonably...not the hardcore type of anonymous). Crucially I need the mail to go through a standard corporate spam filter with flying colours. Bonus points if I can receive a response.

Due to the nature of the mail I can establish reasonable trust from the receiving party within the first line...I just need to get past the email filter & have them read the first line.

How would I go about this?

Yopmail .com ?

Not private though. You can use any address i.e. xxxx @ yopmail.com Anybody who checks that address can however see the inbox. I know there is a way to keep it more private as they give you an additional address you can use. Best to check their site.
 
An average gmail address, just don't have words like sale and special and viagra and such in the mail. I remember I had a mail blocked to UJ because the subject was "Quote", "Kwotasie" worked just fine...

Interesting - never heard of them but sounds relevant. I'll have a look.

It would require creating a new one - which is a lot of hassle. I like the Afrikaans angle though - I'm not Afrikaans, but it'll conveniently side step the viagra spam issue & gain trust i.t.o South African. The person in question is vaguely Afr...so that idea is very viable.

Can make a php script to spoof any email, possibly just add a false return to address that looks similar to "real one" in hopes they don't notice difference if they reply

Creating a new gmail address is easy, just do it through a proxy or tor if you want to be really anonymous. IIRC Gmail uses your IP in the header if you use their webmail interface.

Sorry I didn't notice the person behind the post (long time member and gamer if not mistaken).
It is/was rather dodgy sounding...
 
Won't it be easier to phone them. Or send them a letter. Or meet them.

You still need an existing email address for verification I think?

gmx (think it's the euro one) you can signup via tor and it does not require any form of verification from what I experienced some time back.

You dont need another mail for verification anymore, just click skip.
 
I still say use a memory stick. The NSA and GCHG can still tie your emails and ip addresses together. :)
