There are so many distinct ways in which Telkodemonopoly is causing potential jobs and existing jobs to disappear in SA, immediate examples [but not limited to] that come to mind prior to my mug of coffee:

1. Call Centres [and similar businesses] that could operate from SA if it were not for the extremely expensive telecoms costs that Telkodemonopoly charges...
2. Telkodemonopoly itself retrenching thousands of its own employees...
3. International business people, visiting SA on business, often remark on how far behind & expensive SA telecoms is, this thanks to Telkodemonopoly, and some of those same people make decisions to not invest in SA bcos of how far behind SA telecoms is...

4) Exessive telephony charges to companies means they have less money to employ more people.

How are you measuring the effectiveness of your campaigns?

Next step would be to e-mail Telkom with protest e-mails. If everyone could just send 5 e-mails (total bandwith cost 20kB) to different Telkom employees, it would eventually flood their mail server. This is NOT SPAMMING!, but it would have the same effect.

Anybody got a Telkom addressbook?
