Not surprising, Apple should just concentrate on making good products.
Apple has drawn too much negative attention by being overly aggressive with patent litigation. Now everything is under closer scrutiny. I've said it before, Samsung is gaining more from Apple's aggression than Apple themselves. I know it was Jobs' personal mission to destroy Android ... but the company's leadership should have sat down and said: "Now that Jobs is gone, where should WE take this company?". Jobs' personal vendetta should have been burried (unless Apple's leaders believe that Jobs' ghost would return to haunt them).

Today in the store where I work, I had a client an iPad moaning about how it is the only Apple product he owns and how he hates it...
I think as "technology" becomes more accessible to the layman, the more they start to realise that you do get more than one type of iPad. Apple (and Core more precisely) have priced themselves too high for something that does the same thing as everything else. Don't get me wrong, the actual hardware in Apple's goods are second to none. My friend had his iPad survive a drop off the top of his bakkie AND then getting a Golden Arrow bus riding over it. Obviously the glass didn't stand up to the task but the bloody thing works! There is nothing wrong with the goods they produce. It is just the immoral actions of the company that produces these overpriced goods that a lot of people are starting to question.
And yeah, broad patents were never going to go far. Apple have really shot themselves in the foot on this one and I would love for Samsung to set up a recording booth next to Steve Jobs' grave so they can broadcast to the world the rolling sound as they beat down an obviously jealous ploy to become the only fat cat on the touchscreen scene.
