We as some may know I have had no end of problems with Neotel on many many levels.
I cancelled my contract on friday and they came to collect that piece of cr-- neoflex excuse today.
I didnt have to pay any fines for cancelling, maybe because I threatened with legal action if they wanted to..

Good news: The guy who collected my device said that he is collecting more and more devices as a result of cancellations. Maybe when there is no one left on Neotel they will get there act together or better yet close down.

Hugo has been great and very helpful. But i understand that one person cant make up for the uselessness that Neotel is (BTW, still no bandwidth metre??)

My advice: For those who are having problems, stop wasting your money and cancel right away. Spread the word so others dont get burnt as well.

Yeah, I will be dumping my Neotel in the next few months myself. Undecided if I will keep it for voice as we do make a lot of short cellphone calls - the voice on my Neotel is very good hence the delay in my move back to Telkom.

Do they only collect NeoFlex phones? what about Lite and Prime package phones?

Funny you guys have contracts, when I started with them I just phoned and placed an order. Didn't sign anything and their sales rep did not mention about any fixed contract. But I was charged R35 device fee every month. So much for the R399, R499 or whatever all inclusive package.

Am officially free of Neohell as of yesterday :)

Now I just gotta phone them to get their cr@p out of my house, coz I am not spending money on fuel to go hand it in. They took enough from us already.

Sigh. Waiting for ADSL line to be put in my house. Soon as its done I'll be finneshed with neoflop and ibubbles. Both are useless.

They might overbill you for fuel :)

Careful with your wording bawrak, i don't use the word "promise" in any sentence, work or personal related.
Don't set the wrong expectation for other users with certain choice of words please.

Thanks

Hugo

So this is one thing that really pisses me off when I see it

How are the 2 examples different ?

1. "I will get your refund sorted out"
2. "I PROMISE I will get your refund sorted out"

Is example (1) just leaving you a way out that you can just calm down a customer and do nothing?
In my mind even though the word "Promise" is not there, you are implying it....

I completely agree with Gary.

Great, once you dump them thats when the problems begins. Either way you're screwed.
