Another drm lawsuit for EA

Beautiful.

High time the arrogant producers get hit where it hurts the most... they cannot just dictate what programs I can and cannot run.

Specifically, SecuROM will disable certain programs that the designers of SecuROM believe that computer users should not own, or possess, or operate on their computer, to wit :

- Fantom CD Emulator
- Alcohol 120%
- Nero Image Drive
- Phantom CD
- Clone CD
- Ark Virtual Drive
- Veritas DLA
- Daemon Tools
- AnyDVD
- Process Explorer

I prefer to use virtual CD's and DVD's as the chance of scratching or damaging the disc itself is non-existent. Now these developers come along and tells me that I cannot use the programs which I've paid for?

Bah.

True especially considering none of these programs are illegal. They can be used for illegal purposes as can many other things but that doesn't make them illegal.

Why not? Evenbalance has been doing it for years! I dont see the point of using SecuROM for games that require you to login to access your account. Looks like Sony is still upto their dirty old tricks.
