Seriously.. this is my day for strange email error messages. What do you think of this one?

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'[email protected]' on 2008/09/16 02:54 PM

550 (result of an earlier callout reused).

Now from what I understand.. a callout is when you email someone, their server then checks my email address`s mx records. Say I have the email address [email protected].

It will then do an MX lookup on emaildomain.co.za

Then it sill issue SMTP commands to make sure that the mx server accepts messages for [email protected]

If it does not then the domain is considered invalid... and you cant send to me and I cant to you.

Like.. wtf.. seriously... who puts that on their mail servers? I imagine that would effect your performance dramatically.
