Die plaas Graigmont, tuiste van Andrew en *Loryn Monakane (albei 39), staan nou leeg en verlate in die genadelose koue van die Vrystaatse winter.

Dié opkomende boere is *vroeër vandeesmaand in ’n gruwelnag op hul plaas tussen Dewetsdorp en Botshabelo (naby Thaba Nchu en die Lesotho-grens) aangeval en geskiet.

Andrew is op die toneel dood, maar Loryn het geveg om haar lewe in ’n Bloemfonteinse hospitaal nadat die inbrekers haar verkrag en in die gesig geskiet het.

Sy het verlede naweek, ’n dag nadat sy ontslaan is, in die plaashuis inmekaargesak en is só onder dieselfde dak as haar man dood.

Ismael Mafosi (35), Teboho Frans Khoantle (31) en Johannes Pitseng (32) van Botshabelo is weens die moorde in hegtenis geneem. Die Monakanes se plasma-TV, ’n pistool, DVD-speler en dubbelkajuitbakkie is by hulle gevind.

Die hofverrigtinge is tot 29 Mei uitgestel.

Familielede van die Monakanes het ná die aanval die huisware verwyder uit vrees dat dit geplunder kan word.

Al wat in die leë plaashuisie agtergebly het, is ’n honger babakatjie, bloedkolle teen die muur en ’n vergete briefie van hul 11-jarige dogter, Mami, wat lui:

“Dear Mama, I just want to say hello to you because I know I love you. Mama, I love you so much.”

Mami woon sedert die aanval by haar ouma in Botshabelo.

Volgens sers. Yanga Ngcukana, polisiewoordvoerder, was sy gelukkig nie die aand van die aanval tuis nie.

“Ek soek nou ander werk,” sê Josias Mololekwa, die Monakanes se beeswagter. “Ek kry nou niks meer geld nie.”

Dinge op dié eens suksesvolle plaas gaan nou vinnig agteruit.

Op die werf is twee plaasbrakke sonder kos en water aan *bome vasgeketting – waarskynlik gelos vir dood.

Nie eens Mololekwa weet wie nou na die diere moet omsien nie, want die getraumatiseerde familielede het die huis so vinnig ontruim dat hulle nie reëlings kon tref nie.

Die varkhokke staan dolleeg en nugter alleen weet waarheen die skape en die hoenders verdwyn het.

“Ek pas net die beeste op,” sê Mololekwa. “Ek gee hulle kos.”

Die Monakanes is deel van ’n groep swart boere wat ná grond*hervormingseise ’n plasie in die Dewetsdorp-distrik ontvang het.

Dié boere is besig om stelselmatig ’n sukses te maak met die geringe kapasiteit wat hulle tot hul beskikking het.

Johannes Lemphane, een van die Monakanes se buurmanne op die plaas Kilmanok, is ook een van dié boere.

“Ons doen groot sake hier, al is ons grond klein,” sê hy.

“Maar hierdie mense maak my skrik. Môre skiet hulle sommer vir my ook.

“Ek het Andrew goed geken.

“Die boere in dié omgewing is mos almal tjommies. Die wit boere is óók ons tjommies. As daar moeilikheid is, dan help hulle ons.”

“Andrew was ’n goeie man,” sê Willie Lombard, voorsitter van die boerevereniging op *Dewetsdorp.

“Hy was beslis ’n aanwins. Hy het deelgeneem aan al die boerebyeenkomste en vergaderings wat ons hier gereël het. Hy was baie betrokke.”

This emerging farmers * earlier this month in a gruwelnag on their farm between Dewetsdorp and Botshabelo (near Silay and the Lesotho border ) attacked and shot .

Andrew is on the scene , but Loryn fought for her life in a Bloemfontein hospital after the robbers rape her in the face and shot .

His last weekend , a day after she was discharged , the homestead collapsed , and so under the same roof as her husband died .

Ishmael Mafosi ( 35 ) , Teboho French Khoantle ( 31 ) and John Pitseng ( 32 ) of Botshabelo because the murders were arrested . The Monakanes 's plasma TV , a pistol , DVD player and double cab bakkie at their place .

The court proceedings were postponed until May 29 .

Relatives of the Monakanes after the attack home ware removed for fear that it could be looted .

All the empty farm house left behind , is a hungry baby kitten , bloodstains on the wall and a forgotten letter from their 11 - year-old daughter , Mami , which reads :

" Dear Mama , I just want to say hello to you because i know I love you . Mama , I love you so much . "

Mami lives since the attack with her grandmother in Botshabelo .

According to Sgt . Yanga Ngcukana , police said she was happy the night of the attack at home .

" I'm looking for another job , " said Josias Mololekwa the Monakanes 's herdsman . " I now have no more money. "

Things that once successful farm now rapidly deteriorating .

On the site are two plaasbrakke without food and water * chained trees - probably left for dead .

Mololekwa not even know who the animals now have to look , because the traumatized family members home as quickly evacuated arrangements that they could strike .

The pig pens are empty and Goodness knows where the sheep and chickens disappeared .

" I use only the cattle , " said Mololekwa . " I give them food . "

The Monakanes is part of a group of black farmers after land reform demands * a farm in the district Dewetsdorp received .

These farmers are working systematically to make a success of the small capacity that they have to their disposal.

John Lemphane , one of the Monakanes 's neighbors on the farm Kilmanok , is one of those farmers .

" We do great things here , though we are small ground , " he said .

" But these people make me frightened . Tomorrow shoot them just for me .

"I know Andrew well .

" The farmers in this area have all been buddies . The white farmers are our buddies . If there is trouble , then they can help us . "

" Andrew was a good man , " said Willie Lombard , president of the farmers association * Dewetsdorp .

" He was definitely an asset . He participated in all the meetings and farmers meetings we have arranged . He was very involved . "

Adriana up to her old tricks again I see. That hag and her lies are repugnant.

But this article goes to show two things that she'd never admit. Farm murders happen to black people too and black people are adequate farmers. I'm confused. If she's ever posted anything honest it's purely by mistake.

Mila, some advice. If you don't want your head filled with lies and poisened with manufactured, devisive hate then avoid that site.
