Can someone explain the meaning of this Final A and Final B???
 
I just watched the race now, fantastic race. The Danes will feel hard done by, they lead for most of the race. But well done boys!
 
Looks like we showed those upper crust oxford & cambridge dudes a thing or two about rowing :D
 
Fantastic news, guys did really well. Thought we were out of it at half way, but the last 500 metres especially we absolutely demolished the field.

Final A is for the top 6 qualifiers in the heats, and Final B for the bottom. As far as I am aware, final b is just for ranking purposes but has no medals awarded.

Ahh thanks. Was wondering what the meaning of two finals was.

3 golds already, that's way better than south africa did in 2008.
 
My cousin who lives in NZ now was supposed to represent them in this event. They just missed out on qualifying.
