Another ICASA Jackboot stomping on the consumer's face.

If only they worked that fast in rulings against certain other communication companies...

Good question

Hi Icyrus,

Very good question. Is government concerned about losing its cashcow or is it afraid of an informed population? I think that is the crux of the many issues facing the telecoms industry.

Very true, to add to this take a look at how many pay-tv operators are standing in line to be licensed, and how quickly this happened. The government would love nothing more than a culure of couch-potatoes, our information fed to us, controlled nicely by their supposed "child pornography" protection systems.

Rather than an informed population who choose what to believe and can be informed with many many sources.

Don't let the people think for themselves, we will tell them what to think.

Actually, it's very scary just thinking about it!

Im not so sure....theres a few supporters of the gubment on here that obviously have access to information and yet still choose to follow blindly.

Are they just "supporters"? I'm sure the members of the politburo in china have full access to the internet but they still choose to tow the part line.
