Another Linux mobile phone coming: Jolla

I would love to have one, but the sad truth is getting a phone outside a contract is crazy expensive in SA.

It was the same with OpenMoko, it is just too expensive. Taking into regard that we upgrade phones every 2 years or so (SA culture) it is no really feasible here. I know these phones are supposed to have a longer release cycle, but they will have quite a time competing with Samsung and Apple.

If they can land a deal with one of our networks then I'll definitely switch over to them. I hope they succeed to some extend, would love to see one of these phones personally.
