When I installed my IBurst modem yesterday it created a new Local Area Connection on my PC for IBurst, it's always there but it says limited or no connectivity. Now my IBurst connection is working fine, but if I disable this connection then it stops working. Any ideas? It's just a bit annoying to have it displayed all the time and when I start up it tells me there was an error.

Also another question, is there any way I can get it to connect when my PC starts up? Otherwise I have to connect by opening the IBurst net connection everytime.

Azgard, this was discussed in the ADSL area a while back, nothing to worry about, I will try to locate that thread & post a link back here- unless you want to look for it in the meantime?

For the "making it connect when you boot up" question.

You have to set your internet connection settings to automatically connect whenever a connection is required. Then just make sure that something loads on startup that is going to check for a connection. In my case it is MSN messenger. Or you could drop a shortcut to your homepage in your Startup folder. So Windows boots, loads the page, tried to connect, auto dials and you are connected. Just check the settings on the actual login in screen as well to make it auto login and not ask you for your username and password.

Sorry if the above is a bit vague, I'm at work and can't check my own setup right now

I never though of that, next time I connect I'll set it to automatically connect. MSN and a few other things also open when my PC starts.
