Another new laptop thread!!

Hi Guys


I have a friend who has asked me for some advice as he wants to purchase a new laptop for work purposes. (I'm assuming his budget is 10K but he would like to keep it below that)
What he wants:
-17" screen
-3/4 GB ram
-320GB HD or greater
-Fast processor (i3 or similar/better)

So far he received these two quotes from the HPshop:

Now I know doing a quick search on JUMP or similar will get you better prices than those mentioned above but do you guys know of any other good alternative laptops that may be much better value wise...?

They have MatrixMail - A system where you plug into the Matrix and fetch it... If you can't plug in, a courier will have to do

I have dealt with RebelTech before and found them to be good.
