I'm 12 months in on this hell and the R700 a month I pay, was SOLELY to play Dungeons & Dragons online. It was the most frustrating time of my life, gettign disco'd in the middle of raids, 11 other people wiping because you are the only freaking healer etc...
How can I get the modem bought out and to get the contract cancelled? Cause these useless twits at their call centre have no freaking clue. All I get told is that I have to pay like R8000+ to cancel. Since I signed the contract, I'm bound to it.
I'm pretty sure I pay a **** load of money, for "Broadband". And I'm pretty ****ing sure I signed up for broadband. So if I'm not getting broadband, why the **** should I carry on paying them.
Its all good and fine to say I can get 1mb connection downloading data in S.Africa, but leave our shores and you get dial up DL speeds from servers that are capable of downloading at speeds in excess of 650kb/s I mean, wtf?
Report them to ICASA, I have several times and my connection has been improved... You might want to try the ASA as well with the 17 x faster thing on their website.
