Another round in the courts for Makate

Nkosana Kenneth Makate is heading back to court to contest a claim for 40% of his multi-million-rand settlement with Vodacom for pitching the idea that was developed into "Please Call Me".

Sunday Times reports that Makate's former legal funder, Black Rock Mining, has filed papers in the Johannesburg High Court to block Vodacom's payment to Makate and legitimise its claim.

Makate wasn't even the inventor of please call me service and stole the idea from MTN.

The entity in the Makate case is a British Virgin Islands-registered litigation funder called Black Rock Mining Limited

He thought it was a good idea to deal with an entity like that???

Also, of course they have nothing to do with Mining. They seem to have come to exist as a shell company solely to fund Makate's legal... "battle".
