I bought my daughter a Dell laptop through @Flashgear - actually I've bought a couple so far - but had to call up the warranty on my daughter's machine this week.
She accidentally closed the lid on it with her stylus on the keyboard and the screen stopped working. I checked online and it is under warranty till December including their super duper extra care option which is effectively insurance that covers you in cases like these where there's accidental breakage. The Dell tech was out today and replaced the screen inside of 10 minutes! Pretty darn good support. Now I know not all of @Flashgear's laptops will have this kind of cover, but in case you're wondering about the cover from Dell, I'm astounded. Brilliant service!

Absolutely wonderful to hear, one of the main reasons for supplying my clients with Dell Latitudes where possible is the warranty and peace of mind.
