Another top physicists resigns from APS over "global warming"

'An Inconvenient Truth', Al Gore's documentary about global warming is well worth a watch if you aren't sure where you stand on this issue. Very imformative...

Much more informative is Martin Durkin's The Great Global Warming Swindle (TGGWS). Of course the warmists have expended huge effort trying to get it banned, restricted or removed -- all without success, fortunately. For the past few years they've done everything in their power to "debunk" the movie, and filled countless blogs and comboxes "proving" TGGWS is all lies (the wikipdia entry is one of the most edited, re-edited, and counter-edited entries around, a veritable war zone). But seriously, do yourself a favour and get it. Listen to Greenpeace co-founder Patrick Moore explain what really lies behind this incredible hoax.
 
Couldn't care less whether global warming is man made or not. We should be heavily funding the discovery and implementation of alternative sustainable energies regardless.

Well we are in the solar maximum, in the next 18 months it will be the hottest period we have ever seen due to the solar maximum. So expect things to start getting very warm very fast. This comes from nasa, the hottest years on record have come from this 11 year cycle that started in 2001.

Still nothing wrong with going green but when it does get far warmer in the next year start blaming the sun :D.
 
Poor old Gore has been publicly ridiculed/shamed so many times after "an inconvenient truth" it's not even funny.
Youtube's filled with Gore making an ar5e of himself.

Ugh. This one just never dies, does it? TGGWS contains a LOT of fabrication, misrepresentation of interviewees, and outright lies.

Why put "debunk" in scare quotes? TGGWS has been debunked.

CLOUD's results do not undermine AGW theory. CLOUD provided a lot of valuable information on how ionisation from cosmic rays helps form aerosols, which in turn help form clouds. It doesn't say anything about how this affects climate. The lead author of the CLOUD paper even said "At the moment, it actually says nothing about a possible cosmic-ray effect on clouds and climate, but it's a very important first step".
