I exist only in my own mind ...
In February Telkom double charged me for January & February ADSL fees. After a protracted effort I got them to agree to reverse the charges.

In March I paid the balance of the account less the overcharges.

In April they brought forward the unpaid balance arising from their overcharges, and credited this amount.

And added an interest charge.

Which the reluctantly agreed to reverse after I called again and again and then told them that a theft charge was in the offing ...

I've heard enough of this **** that Telkom is drenching up lately. I would like to see people take them to the small claims court every time they try to do something like this and doesn't correct it within 30 days after 1 phone call (which would probably be every time). People should charge them back for every cent they overcharged including interest, every phone call made to them (for which they have charged you), all time lost in work, and even the headache tablets you now have to use. The only way this nonsense will stop is if they start to feel it in their pockets. Maybe a lawyer can comment on this and what people can do and we could make that a sticky thread since this seems to be a regular occurrence lately.
