Another WoW client request

Howdy,

I am in need of either some help or a request for the client.

Currently the game will not patch at all. I tried to repair and that does not work and when I tried to log in I get as far as a realm selection screen and the game then hangs. :cry:

Any advice for the above problem or otherwise if I could find someone in the PTA area (Jhb if I cannot find anyone in PTA will also be okay) who could provide me with the latest patched client it would be greatly appreciated (I'll replace the discs, buy lunch, beers etc.)

edit: I am manually downloading the patches and will see if I resolve the issue after installing the patches (103mb + 5.29gig!)

pm to arrange - u can come copy it with an external harddrive
(im not gonna write 30gb to dvd - after the latest patch the textures uncompressed, performance has improved a lot tho)

I am busy d/loading the patches off of do gaming but if the patches fail, I'll send you a pm (I also live in the east so it will be close by).
 
Good Luck. Only started playing and downloaded the client from scratch. Full 21GB on a 512kbps line.
 
Lol! Finished downloading the full thin in about 5 days. Thank goodness that I was going at full speed the whole way through.
But I wouldn't recommend anyone doing it though. :)
 
I am halfway through the 5.29gig patch with interrupts due to my son complaining that I am killing his game of COD Black Ops :D . I should be done sometime tomorrow and back in game on Monday.

I am getting around 50Kb/s atm on my 512 line (is this any good for a 512 line).
