Answering service - mp3 recording

Hi Guys - sorry if this is in the wrong section , mods please correct.

I'm looking for an answering machine or a service - that records calls into mp3.

Our company wants to implement a "fraud line" where people can phone in anonymously and then the HR people can invesitgate matters via checking the mp3s in due time.

Any hardware or services that can cater for this?

We have our voice-mail emailed to us as an MP3.

If you have a software PBX like Asterisk, it's quite easy.

Otherwise, get an old 56k modem. There's a lot of software that'll act as an answering machine using a modem, i.e. http://www.nch.com.au/ivm/index.html
