1. MCX female +- R7
2. About 5m of RG174 cable +- R40

How do I get the connector on the cable ? Webb should help.

I'll pick it up from you and give you a free modem test if you need one.

Ask Webb to make you up a small pig tail about 300 mm long, MCX female one side and a N-Type male the other side - or a BNC female.
Just remember not to get the MCX with 4 flanges - must be 5 or 6.

Where does the BNC go ? If you think I'm buying an antenna, you're spoiling my fun.

What is the best cable for 2.5 GHz that is available ? Please say it's RG174...

Depends on the length you want.
I dont know RG-174 but if they say its ok then use it.
Or if its up to 10m you can use cheap RG-214 (thats what I'm using atm)
10m to 20m I'd use 1/2" Celflex 0.15 dB loss per meter.
Above 20m use 7/8" Celflex 0.10 dB loss per meter.

The BNC goes on the opposite side of the MCX pig tail.
