One concern with the implant is that the body can reject it and the pills are literally pushed out from the initial implant site. I dont see how that could be fun on any level. If you decide to go for it, have a chat with the doctor / facility arranging it for you and discuss what the waiting period is *after* the implant has run its course (assuming that you decide to continue drinking) as it's not always an exact timeframe - i assume this has something to do with the speed your body will process them at. Drinking too soon can be pretty dangerous - even a sip of the wrong cough medicine or biolpus type stuff can set you back for a day or so.

You see the thing is it's like smoking..... it only works if you want to stop and you sound like you are in two minds about stopping.

Cold turkey is nasty, i would recomend help

Mmmm, well.... Honestly? Grow up. There's way more fun(er) things to do than to drink yourself into a coma every weekend.

Why? Is it cause woman's brains are too small and the alchohol seeps through easier or just because they have this need to party while they're young and some just don't grow out of it?

I know women that can drink till the sun comes up and still sober enough to drive home. Unlike me, I fall over after the 2nd bottle of tequilla

in my opinion the answer doesn't lie in medicating yourself - go to an AA meeting if you're concerned - you'll get a lot more helpful info there then you will on mybb forums :)
