Anti signal Jammer

Hi everyone, has anyone build or know off an anti signal jamming alarm/device you can use in your home. I assume freq would need to cover 400mhz- 5ghz?
So many IoT , cameras and alarms these days use wifi and rf signals.

I know Robogaurd has one but it covers the 433mhz band only.

Do you know how it would work. As I understand it signal jamming is done by flooding said bandwidth with noise, causing the intended signal to be lost.So I wouldn't know how to prevent that?

Signal jammers are illegal as far as I'm aware.

Thanks yes jammers are illegal but that does not stop the criminals in South Africa, hence the need for an electronic device alarming or warning you that there is a signal jammer in the area. The malls have some installed already to help warn in case of car thieves jamming signals.

A quick read indicates signal jamming prevention is done by using multiple frequencies or boosting the signal Tx/Rx or detecting the direction of the jamming signal and using cool technology to not pickup signals from that direction

Oh a warning device. Get yourself a SDR and monitor the frequency for prolonged interference, then raise an alarm when it's detected

The only effective way is for the device (such as alarm sensor) to be polled on a regular interval, and to raise the alarm when it no longer responds.

I will just buy the robogaurd snitch, that alarms if the 833mhz is jammed . That should indicate jamming on a broad spectrum as most illegal jammers are covering a large frequency band re 1mhz-6ghz.

I don't know about home use but there is an inexpensive device called the ZX Jamalert from Sanji. This is designed for vehicles and I have fitted them to both my vehicles. Essentially when the car is switched off it sniffs the area for jamming signals and a warning alarm goes off if any is detected. It has saved me multiple times over the years and well worth the few hundred bucks.
Maybe there is something similar for home use.

Even better to just wire your PIRs and cameras. Put it in the ground or very high up. Just make sure to use shielded cabling and bond the shield to earth.
