Once again AntiTrust took to the streets.
On Thursday morning between 07h30 and 09h30 Antitrust members protested on the busy intersection of Empire Road and Jan Smuts Avenue.
A 3 meter banner which read “Telkom is costing SA jobs!” and “Stop the rip off” was being displayed. Hundreds of flyers containing damaging facts about Telkom were distributed to all passer-bys.
Onlookers in cars, basses and taxis looked on hooted and waved in support.
Yesterday’s protest was prompted by the new billing system which is being introduced by Telkom on 1 November 2005. Protest will be esculated now, and volunteers are welcome to join.
